HR
Ensure HR administration complies with all legal requirements and processed effectively (i.e. benefit and payroll enrollments, mid-year changes, salary amendments, promotions, relocations, parental leaves, absences)
Communication with employees daily, providing information to answer their questions regarding onboarding, offboarding, benefits, 401k, mid-year changes, leaves of absence, etc
Supporting proper information so finance can manage payroll processing for your assigned regions
Assist with all manner of ad-hoc organizational development projects such as talent reviews, engagement surveys, compliance trainings, and as a supporting teammate to our larger People Team in various ways
Stay closely connected and aligned with our broader People team; contributing as an integral member of the People team, participating in weekly meetings and social events when and where able
TEAM CARE
Plan and direct employee engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture
Coordinate travel & accommodation logistics for Overflow staff & business guests
Manage comprehensive budgets include expenses related to transportation, accommodations, T&Es, vendors, etc
Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints
Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and negotiate to achieve the most favorable terms
Manage all team related event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.) and act quickly to resolve problems
Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
Responsible to purchase & send out birthday, anniversary, and personal celebration gifts on behalf of executive team
ON/OFFBOARDING
Ensure fast & efficient on/offboarding and changes in the employee lifecycle
Create a positive onboarding experience by conducting new hire benefits orientation and manage a smooth employee offboarding process
Host new hire orientation
Update new hire orientation materials
Innovate to create new hire onboarding experience /processes
SOC2
Manage, maintain, and improve the compliance management of internal controls to meet internal and external compliance SOC2 security requirements
Evaluate the design and test the operating effectiveness of key controls identified and provide control enhancement recommendations as appropriate
In 60 days, you will own & run these operations and you will be encouraged to suggest how to optimize and improve them

2 years of experience in HR processes in the United States (mostly admin, US benefits, onboarding & offboarding)
1 years experience in customer service (internal or external)
Use your broad range of People Operations knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, highly organized thinking, and ability to handle multiple and constantly shifting priorities
Be a well balanced facilitator and strong communicator that does not shy away from any question
